A few weeks ago, when I was last at my house, I spent an evening looking through old sketchbooks of mine. I was waxing nostalgic, and rightfully so; it was my 18th birthday. I came across the first ever drawing of Evabella Black (from 2009), and the redrawn version I did in 2011, which is actually still here on deviantart (Divine Intervention) This is the newest version. I've come a long way, and Eve has too. For one, I started calling her Eve as opposed to Evabella. She also went from Hot Topic vomit to steampunk to this, sort of post-hippie 70's rebel. Somehow she's managed to survive, although both her and her story have changed so much. Hopefully she'll still be around in a few years when I feel up to redrawing her again!

For some reason I really like this– no, actually, I know exactly why I like this. Those WINGS. WOW. And the colors work so well, and ugh, I just... think this is really cool.
